'In silence we hear our own chaos, the mental noise that never stops.
But what if pure silence was filled with divine sound?

Don't fear the silence, hear what has never been heard. ...and throw away your noise gate!
Shhhhhhh! '

VINTAGE VIBE WITH A MODERN TWIST !
What makes a guitar pickup sound good? ... It all comes down to the magnet and the coil. Electric guitar pickups have been around for nearly a century now and we all know what we like to hear in a good guitar pickup.
Traditionally pickups are made using a magnet and a coil of wire. Magnet type and size are varied along with wire size, number of turns and winding pattern of the coil, all of these factors form the basics of the sound profile of the pickup. Here at Silent J's pickups the basic principles have not changed. Its the only way that we can deliver the sound you all know and love!
Also traditionally, pickups are wound on either a plastic bobbin or a fibreboard material and the wires are often unshielded 'vintage cloth' ...... WHY !!! ???
This is where Silent J's pickups differ and for a very good reason!
The environment we live in today is very different when compared to the 1940's, 50's, 60's, 70's etc. Electrical/Electronic noise from other devices surround us like never before... Mobile/cell phones, LED or fluorescent lighting, computers and computer processors in products all around our home. Digital Radio Signals, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, 3G, 4G, 5G .... Electronic noise is everywhere!
Today in the 21st century, our problem is a lot larger than a bit of 50/60 Hertz mains hum. Electrical noise engulfs us. This is why we are very proud to say that we use electrically conductive materials in our pickups, such as...
-
Carbon Fibre,
-
Aluminium,
-
Stainless Steel,
-
Copper,
-
Titanium
...to help keep the electrical noise out, without compromising the great tone we all love.
Why pay good money for a guitar pickup and allow the unwanted noise/interference penetrate the music and your musical experience?
